Making it Clear
Our views of a defiled heart are many. Perhaps it is one marred, impaired, polluted, poisoned, corrupted, tainted, tarnished, infected, stained and perhaps even evil. We can intellectually conceive these words and more as the result of being born into a fallen world where they exist. They are the result of poor choices. The best choice is to overcome with faith that defies the bad we know, it hopes and seeks what is pure and then becomes clearer. It is by faith using our free will for a greater purpose believing the better based on the yet unseen best. It is how we come to know, see and experience God. It is the making of a better heart as we pursue and choose His with faith becoming like Jesus. It is His character becoming ours making it easier to see through that heart with His eyes. This is a view with a better understanding of the undefiled purity of God’s love for us and others becoming clear.
Psalm 19:7-8 The law of the Lord is perfect, converting the soul;
The testimony of the Lord is sure, making wise the simple;
The statutes of the Lord are right, rejoicing the heart;
Matthew 5:8 Blessed are the pure in heart, For they shall see God.
