Evil exists in the world. Most all of us have seen or perceived other people to be influenced by an angry, bitter and malevolent spirit. It is manifested in those exposed to others having and being subjected to the same. They affect more others because of what they say and do. It is an ugly, jaded and callous spirit. It protects itself and projects on others to control and survive what is actually destroying it. It is futility masking fear and pain with something worse to keep them out. It hates love because it hurts when it really isn’t love at all. Hate is like an addictive drug, it needs more of itself to become less vulnerable to the very hurt it makes and exists in. It is a lie that blames God for the very hurt it embraces and creates. For such who are afflicted, they are the most difficult to pray for. They are the ones who need the most prayer.
We cannot judge another’s heart! We can only discern the evidence of it. We must instead prayerfully respond according to the will and heart a loving and merciful God. We must believe everyone has a God given potential to truly love and is loved by Him, knowing He is the creator of all. It is not within our flesh to comprehend and understand all things of God. It can be within our heart to pray and love. There is too much in this world that diminishes the heart and thus the will of God to grow more of it. We put God into boxes of self-made doctrines that can only hold our own limitations. We should instead enlarge hearts by focusing more on what brings them together, bigger and better. This can only be done by His love for us and for others to love Him and each other in return. From this all good things do and will come. Heaven comes. It is evident in His Word regarding Himself, it is in the life and leading of Jesus. We are capable of being like Jesus when by faith we believe in Him. We must follow and obey Him, for He is the greatest Heart empowered by the greatest Spirit. He overcomes and wins all things by His will, it is never by ours alone. We are never alone. We must live in that awareness loving Him and others as much as we can. Remember always, Love wins!
Do not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good.
2 Timothy 1:8
So never be ashamed of the testimony of our Lord, nor be embarrassed over my imprisonment, but overcome every evil by the revelation of the power of God!
2 Timothy 2:3
Overcome every form of evil as a victorious soldier of Jesus the Anointed One.
