Short Sermon

A Christian (follower of Christ sincerely wanting to become Christ like), whether rich or poor, famous or obscure, regardless of what standard this world puts or implies of or on any, is on a journey being sanctified in and by Him alone (Jesus) into His Perfect Holiness, by His Perfect Will into His Perfect Love. It will take a lifetime. It is done in living using the defining gift of our free will. We do this every moment of our lives. In using our free will it becomes evident who our God is. Either it bears Godly fruit or not, from both by grace more opportunities are for a given time provided. He knows the intent of the heart that drives our will, He alone can and will judge it. God works all things to the good of those who sincerely love Him. It is not so much in our doing that matters, for His grace is sufficient in all things, it is about what He is doing in us. We should never predicate our choices on the judgement we make of others…we should love them as He loves them and give mercy instead as led. We must love Him with all our mind, body and soul above all else, and secondly love others as ourselves – all the commandments are based on this. Encourage others to seek truth based on the Good News, the Gospels. It is there that each of us must come to know what was accomplished on the Cross and what it means to everyone who by faith chooses to sincerely accept Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior. To make any point a greater issue gives that very issue more power than it deserves, it becomes more of a stronghold or distraction to what is the greater passion, desire, will and love of God. We must let God be God! He is the one that changes and works every good work in the heart and souls of those that love Him…for His is the Greatest purpose. Thank you, Jesus, you are my Lord!
