The Invitation of Peace
I often feel too busy and too stressed.
I feel there isn’t enough time in the day to do everything.
I know it isn’t about what I do…as much as what is being done in me.
This determines who I am, who He intended and created me to be.
I often mindlessly just go and flow into a world that changes how I flow and go.
Instead I can be the change in it, not of my own doing,
but by Him who does in and through me.
Without having that awareness, I sometimes spew and erupt like a volcano.
Like so many others I can be lava, smoke and dust in the atmosphere.
I can instead respond by inviting the peace of our merciful and loving God into it.
He is always willing to give me the better vision and version of it,
one full of His grace…the smiling and inviting face of Jesus.
Jesus never hurried or worried, he simply loved and loves,
all with amazing passion the creation with and of the Father.
It is His will to love and create more.
It is His will to do it in and with me, with you, with all of us!
Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God; and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.
